A former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to cease being a sectional chief and take the ethical excessive floor.

Ezekwesili, who supported Buhari in the course of the 2015 presidential election, urged the President to behave as a real chief by exhibiting like to all.

The former minister mentioned this in a collection of tweets on Twitter whereas reacting to the latest deployment of troopers within the South-East codenamed Operation Python Dance 2.

She said, “It is tragic that you simply, our President, Muhammadu Buhari, have intentionally or inadvertently alienated a phase of the individuals you lead. It is tragic.”

Ezekwesili mentioned it was fallacious of Buhari to punish a whole geopolitical zone due to the actions of some.

She added, “The chief of a rustic can’t be pals solely of these he/she likes. No. That will not be management. The chief builds up teams. Not divide. You can not lead solely people who worship and swear by you. You are the chief. You should carry the burden even of people who detest you.

“It is the bottom type of churlishness that’s unbecoming of a frontrunner to ship alerts that you simply dislike anybody of the teams you lead. A pacesetter is a winner. When a winner acts like a loser, issues go fallacious of their kingdom. Real leaders construct a bond with all their individuals.
