Veteran American actor Frank Vincent, identified for roles within the TV sequence The Sopranos and a number of Martin Scorsese movies, has died at the age of 78, US media report.

He had problems throughout open coronary heart surgical procedure in a New Jersey hospital, web site TMZ experiences.

In HBO’s The Sopranos, he portrayed gangster Phil Leotardo, the nemesis to the principle character Tony Soprano.
