Project Overview and Role

  • Palladium is recruiting for the anticipated USAID-funded Nigeria Agriculture Competitiveness challenge.
  • The aim of the challenge is to create a catalytic funding mechanism which hyperlinks smallholder farmers to the personal sector and to create a optimistic enterprise enabling environments for thriving agribusiness sector.

Purpose of Position

  • Palladium seeks a Director of Finance and Investments for the USAID-funded Nigeria alternative in Agriculture Competitiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that innovation funds establish and catalyze new funding in Nigeria agribusiness and agriculture worth chain growth.
  • Liaises with the worth chain growth group to establish firms/enterprises with potential to contribute to a stronger Nigerian meals system via provision of agriculture inputs, expanded processing and commerce, linkages to post-harvest dealing with and storage; and promotion of home consumption of key worth chains.
  • Develops a programs to trace social impression of the agriculture fund on key goal populations;
  • Oversees a grants administration group, making certain that grants are in compliance with USAID and Palladium insurance policies and procedures, and making certain that grants guide and associated program paperwork are compliant with USAID rules.
  • Oversees growth of a grant monitoring system to make sure the well timed and right execution of all grant agreements
  • Maintains communication with recipients to make sure easy administration of sub devices;
  • Reviews recipient experiences and documentation for compliance with settlement/sub-agreement phrases and circumstances
