Tim Hague useless: UFC fighter turned boxer dies after bout in Canada

Tim Hague, the previous UFC fighter generally known as “The Thrashing Machine,” died Sunday, two days after he was critically injured when he was knocked out in a boxing match towards former Edmonton Eskimos defensive finish Adam Braidwood.

Hague’s sister, Jackie Neil, introduced the demise in a household assertion.

“It is with unimaginable unhappiness, sorrow and heartbreak to report that Tim has handed away at present,” the assertion stated. “He was surrounded by household, listening to his favourite songs. We will miss him with so tremendously.”

The match Friday evening on the Shaw Conference Centre was promoted by KO Boxing.

The 33-year-old Hague, who grew up on a farm in Boyle, Alberta, was a heavyweight skilled in jiu-jitsu. He was 21-13 as an MMA fighter earlier than switching to boxing final summer time.
