North Korea has accused the US authorities of “actually mugging” its diplomats at a New York airport.

A spokesman for the secretive state stated its officers had been “robbed” of a diplomatic bundle at John F Kennedy Airport on Friday.

North Korea’s state information company KCNA stated the incident proved the US was a “lawless gangster state”.

The White House – which considers “fixing” the North Korea disaster a precedence – has but to remark.

The North Korean diplomats have been reportedly getting back from a UN convention on incapacity rights when the incident – branded by KCNA as a “unlawful and heinous act of provocation” – befell.
